Welcome to Reception. At Two Moors every child’s wellbeing is supported in a nurturing and safe environment. We help children build their confidence and independence with routines and we provide lots of hands on, practical activities to challenge and inspire the children. Here you will find information about the work we are doing and planning to do over the year. Do have a look at our blog and see what we’ve been doing.
We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils. We endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment where children are respected and valued. We are alert to the signs of abuse and neglect and follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice. The Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is Mr. R. Boraston. For a copy of the School’s Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy please see our Policies page. The procedures contained in this policy apply to all staff and governors and are consistent with those of the Devon Safeguarding Children’s Partnership.
